Our Mission Statement

Building on the land-grant institution foundation, NDSU study abroad is committed to promoting and facilitating student mobility and internationalization strategies to create practical, effective engagement between our local community and the world. Study abroad encourages transformative learning opportunities that foster academic development, personal growth, and intercultural competence that are indispensable elements of a quality education in today’s global society. 

Network of Support

The Office of International Student and Study Abroad Services is proudly a member of the Forum on Education Abroad. NDSU is also pleased to be pledged to increase study abroad numbers in the coming years as part of the Generation Study Abroad initiative.
